Get your copy of the Computer Arts Projects Issue 116 when it comes out at the newstands as Simone Legno of tokidoki is one of the featured artists!

According to designer Alan Wardle (he did the layout for the pages!), the magazine will be released in the UK on 9 October so make sure you hop on down to the bookstores/newstands to check out the issue.

As part of the Yahoo! “Start Wearing Purple” campaign, tokidoki has launched a limited edition purple apparel line sold exclusively at Start Wearing Purple. According to the Yahoo! rep who kindly sent us this piece of exciting news, the site is dedicated to a grassroots campaign that encourages people to embrace the color and spirit of purple.

Check out two of the tees in the range (we totally dig the tokidoki SANDY in purple tee!), as well as a gorgeous shot of Simone Legno sporting a purple cap and purple Adios star tee which I’d love to get my hands on!

The tees cost US$30 but at the moment it seems to be only available in the US - we tried to buy one but we only saw US states listed in the drop-down menu. (However don’t fret coz we’ll update you once we have news that it will be shipped internationally as well!)

Together with the site, there’s also a series of videos of Simone Legno, one of which is this mini-documentary (you can catch a glimpse of the tokidoki office!):

Not only that, he will also be having a signing session on 21 September, 6pm, at Fresh located in Quezon City. Make sure you jot down the date and time!

The weekend’s here again but no rest for us Tokidokizens as we continue our never-ending hunt for places to buy our favourite tokidoki goodies. Our ‘Where to buy tokidoki‘ page has been really popular and we’re glad to be able to help everyone out.

We have recently updated the page with more places where you can buy tokidoki - especially in the United States (thanks to Shuzluva, pam s and JessakaMitz!) - together with other places in Europe as well as Asia. So fellow Tokidokizens, do let us know where we can get tokidoki in your neighbourhood - be it US or Europe or Asia - so that everyone can benefit from it!

In the meantime, the tokidoki Concept Space in Brisbane, Australia is now opened (they had a soft launch yesterday). The store will stock the latest exclusive items from tokidoki and remember to check out the specially designed tokidoki Wall by Simone Legno in store as well!
