Spreading the Tokidoki Love across Asia-Pacific and the world!
Goodies are pouring in from all corners here in Asia! The latest tokidoki vinyl toy, Captain Coco of the tokidoki Cocomandos, is now available for preorder from EarthX!
Not only that, we spied that they also have the tokidoki Mirror Mints and a couple of tokidoki Skate Decks available for preorder too. The tokidoki Mirror Mints have been retailing in the USA for quite a while and this is probably the first time any of us here in Asia have seen it.
As for the tokidoki Skate Decks, I really like the version titled “24 Carat” as it looks really different with its two colour scheme (instead of the colourful illustrations we’re so familar with). Even though Christmas is two months away, it’s always good to start shopping early (for yourself!)
Continuing with more tokidoki news elsewhere in the world - take note our dear Australian readers (or anyone who’s in Australia now reading this)! The tokidoki Concept Store, in Brisbane, will be having an official launch next Tuesday 16 September at 6pm (thanks to reader Arthouse Jo for reminding us)! Grab your invites from the Barcode stores (Surfers Paradise and Fortitude Valley) so that you won’t miss out on the launch action!
P.S. Benny from Tenacious Toys has also written in to let us know that you can also preorder tokidoki Bulletto from their store now. I have already done my preorder here with EarthX - can’t wait for tokidoki Bulletto to arrive~!!
We’ve seen sneak peeks into the upcoming tokidoki Stationery, tokidoki Apparel (tees, hoodies and more!) as well as the super coveted tokidoki + Skullcandy headphones. What about the toys? Well, after the madness that was SDCC 2008 - us Tokidokizens have spotted a few photos of the tokidoki Tigers taken by fellow tokidoki lovers! Whilst we haven’t gotten our grubby claws on them yet, the tokidoki Tigers are already available (even here in Asia) so make sure you get down to your local store to get one (or four)!

Then there’s my favourite - tokidoki Bulletto (spelt with a double T btw)! We just spotted that Panik’s Toy Box (USA) has already listed Bulletto on their site for preorder. They also have a little blurb on him as well:
Mozzarella’s new boyfriend Bulletto is a tough one when it comes to providing protection for weak kids in the schoolyard. Legend claims that he used to be a bully himself, but switched sides after meeting his beloved Mozzarella. It was love at first sight, and now he runs with the nicer gang, The Moofia. Bulletto carries a powerful shotgun and comes with two special bullet companions, too!
*hearts* I want my tokidoki Bulletto now!

It seems that this tokidoki Cheshire Cat, surfaced in 2007 at the The “We’re All Mad Here” show at Gallery 1988, according to Kardinalsin

If you love Alice in Wonderland AND tokidoki, you’ll love this exclusive custom design by tokidoki on the Cheshire cat vinyl figure. How awesome is this!
P.S. We’ve got TONS of things happening on Tokidokizens! Make sure you check out our eBay auction (we relisted the tokidoki Cloudia watch) and our second Giveaway (we’re giving you a chance to win a blank trexi autographed by Simone Legno)!

Finally we managed to find some time to take photos of our latest addition to our tokidoki toy collection - the tokidoki + devilrobots Plus Robots! Yes they’ve been sitting quietly in their respective boxes till last week when we took them out for a bit of photoshooting.

The Plus Robots are by Play Imaginative and consist of two gorgeously designed, 8″ high robots plus their companions. True to their own style, tokidoki and devilrobots managed to infuse the bots with their own design influences - tokidoki Astrodemonio is rebelliously cute (with more rounded edges) whilst devilrobots’ Evil King stay true to his Japanese robot roots (more blocky and defined design).

The packaging is quite interesting as well. Instead of having two separate boxes, the Plus Robots stay in their own boxes but is connected in the middle so that you can display both at the same time! It also makes keeping the boxes quite easy - fold it and it just becomes a bigger box (much like the tokidoki Miao’s).

The back of each box tells a bit of the story of each robot as well!
Just for your viewing pleasure, here are more photos of the tokidoki Astrodemonio packaging

Feel free to share your own photos of the Plus Robots!
P.S.We’re reserving some of the nicer images of tokidoki Astrodemonio for desktop wallpapers to share with you so make sure you are updated on the happenings on Tokidokizens!
