Spreading the Tokidoki Love across Asia-Pacific and the world!
It’s only been three months since the tokidoki Concept Space was launched in Brisbane, Australia and already they’re bringing loads and loads of tokidoki goodies that has not been available here in Asia! The tokidoki Concept Space now stock the full range of the tokidoki Bags as well as tokidoki + Hello Kitty items (no need to fly to Japan)! For tokidoki apparel, be sure to check out the tokidoki Jeans and flip flops when you’re at the store as well. I’m actually wishing I could catch the next flight out as I’m typing this!
Besides the bags, they also have the collectible items like the tokidoki Soccer Ball, tokidoki Be@rbrick and tokidoki Miao together with his other toys. If you’re looking for presents for a tokidoki fan (or simply for yourself), the Concept Space will be bringing in the tokidoki Geisha as well as Captain Coco of the Cocommandos!
Time to get your shopping lists done up for Christmas we reckcned!
Thanks to our friends at the tokidoki Concept Space for updating us with all these yummy information as well.
P.S. We’ve been receiving really (and REALLY) creative entries for our tokidoki Halloween costume contest! We’ll be ending the contest in the next few days so keep those creative thoughts coming!
Yesterday we saw photos of the first tokidoki Concept Store in Brisbane, Australia. As promised, here are some details of what you can expect to see when you make a trip down.
Besides having tons of delicious tokidoki apparel from the US collection, the tokidoki Concept Store will also carry items from the tokidoki European collection, including tokidoki Jeans, Flip Flops, tees, accessories, etc. They will also bring in the new tokidoki Bags as well! So if you’re from Australia or even in Asia - you don’t have to look too far to get the new tokidoki bags!
You can also expect to see collectors items such as the tokidoki Soccer Ball (!!), tokidoki Tiger (all four colourways) as well as the Plus Robots. All these and more will be in the store by the end of September so make sure you pay a visit by then!
If that’s not enough, Barcode Jeans will also be having an official launch party on 16 September at 6.30pm. But entry to the event is INVITATON-ONLY and all to get those, you’ll need to email: tokidoki@barcodejeans.com
Official Launch Party, September 16th @ 6:30pm. By Invitation Only.
It’ll be a grand event. Adios is rumoured to drop in for a visit. Signed items by Simone himself (sent all the way from USA especially for the event) will be given to fans who can answer a tokidoki Trivia Question. As will be other giveaways as well. But only limited numbers available, so its first come first serve basis. There will also be VERY limited edition items available for sale only for the night. There will be Fashion Parades, entertainment, Press, and refreshments.
P.S. TWO DAYS LEFT on our eBay auction (we relisted the tokidoki Cloudia watch)!! Also don’t miss out on our second giveaway!

The first tokidoki Concept Store to be found in the Australasia region opened on 08/08/08 in Brisbane, Australia. Thanks to the lovely people at Barcode Jeans - they provided us with pictures to share with you!

(Outside the store)
Remember the tokidoki Wall? Well it’s featured prominently on the outside of the shop and look at how eye-catching it is! There’s the Japanese girls, devil chef (my fav!!), SANDy, Bastardino… gosh the list goes on and on… The pictures don’t do it justice, you have to go and check it out yourself!

(The full tokidoki Wall)

(There’s a small window display filled with tokidoki toys!)
They have loads of tokidoki apparel in store so you can have fun choosing and shopping! Besides the tokidoki US collection, the shop will also carry a few EU collection pieces.

The tokidoki Concept Store will be officially launched (with a big party) in September - we will have more details on the store as well as how you can get invited to the launch tomorrow so stay tuned!
P.S. THREE DAYS LEFT on our eBay auction (we relisted the tokidoki Cloudia watch)!! Plus our second Giveaway (we’re giving you a chance to win a blank trexi autographed by Simone Legno) is still ongoing!
If you are residing in Brisbane, Australia, you’ll be in for a treat come this August! We’ve gotten news that tokidoki and Barcode Stores have come together to open a “tokidoki Concept Space“! The store will be the first of its kind in Australia (and we’re thinking in Asia as well) and will be located at Brunswick Street Mall, Fortitude Valley (it’s in Brisbane’s Chinatown area).
The official opening of the tokidoki Concept Space will be on 8 August and we’ve heard that Simone Legno will be designing a Wall Mural for the store! This wall mural will be shipped all the way from the US when it’s completed. According to Matt (of Barcode Stores), they will be stocking the tokidoki Concept Space with the biggest and most extensive range of tokidoki merchandise available, which is great news for all of us!
Right now we have not gotten any photos of the store that we can post here, but we’ll definitely keep you updated when the images are available! Make sure you check back to our site or sign up for our RSS feed!

We’ve been getting good responses since we placed a call for everyone to contribute to our ‘Where to buy tokidoki‘ list (THANKS!). Do continue to help all Tokidokizens (and you) to increase the listings on the page just by contacting us!
Of course besides just listing the stores, Tokidokizens have taken it a step further. We will feature some stores that we think are pretty interesting (philosophy, location, store design etc.) for you to check out as well.
Being in Asia, it’s quite difficult for us to find any online stores that sell tokidoki around here. So imagine my delight when we spotted one that is based in Australia (so nearby!) whilst running through our list!
Pinin is an online retailer based in Sydney, Australia. Like us, they love, love, love all manner of funky, cute, designer stuff (like tokidoki). They started their online operations early this year and do stock a good amount of tokidoki items.

(Yes they have the latest tokidoki tees!)
They have tokidoki apparel from the US collection, accessories like tokidoki watches, jewellery and caps, tokidoki toys and even tokidoki stickers and badges! Pinin ships to various international locations (hurray for us…) and of course domestically in Australia.
You can also find them travelling to various trade shows/conventions and even clubs and gigs in Australia. Here’s a shot (taken from their blog) of what you can expect if you visit them at such venues:

So many drool-worthy tokidoki stuff!! *Resists urge to buy airticket and fly to Australia*
Check out Pinin’s tokidoki section and begin the shopping madness… Or if you are in Australia, make sure to catch them at SUPANOVA in Sydney (Australia’s largest pop culture convention) where they’ll have even more tokidoki goodies in store!
