Weekends are a good time to go out shopping and over the past weekend we popped by Tangs (Orchard) here in Singapore to check out if they have any new tokidoki apparel in store. We weren’t to be disappointed because they do have the tokidoki Nautical series already (yes we’re really behind time here in Asia!).

I fell in love with this grey terry cloth halter featuring a really cute tokidoki pirate monkey! With a big tokidoki pirate star on the back too! Awwww…

This would be perfect for those outings at the beach where you lounge about in your bikini, do a bit of a swim with no need for a towel coz your tokidoki top is already made of it! The material is quite soft and not scratchy at all to wear.

Besides the material, the top is also embellished with a few tokidoki details. In front you have a tokidoki pirate monkey holding onto a yellow rope and making heart patterns along it. Along the back of the top, there’s a bigggg tokidoki word made out from the rope as well as a sparkling tokidoki pirate star stitched on as well (like a patch).

As part of the Yahoo! “Start Wearing Purple” campaign, tokidoki has launched a limited edition purple apparel line sold exclusively at Start Wearing Purple. According to the Yahoo! rep who kindly sent us this piece of exciting news, the site is dedicated to a grassroots campaign that encourages people to embrace the color and spirit of purple.

Check out two of the tees in the range (we totally dig the tokidoki SANDY in purple tee!), as well as a gorgeous shot of Simone Legno sporting a purple cap and purple Adios star tee which I’d love to get my hands on!

The tees cost US$30 but at the moment it seems to be only available in the US - we tried to buy one but we only saw US states listed in the drop-down menu. (However don’t fret coz we’ll update you once we have news that it will be shipped internationally as well!)

We’re excited to see tokidoki’s Fall/Winter 2008 collection trickling into various parts of the world! We’ve seen sneak peeks from Chicki of a couple of new jackets coming in, and now Crim Shop in Italy has kindly let us know that the new arrivals are already in their store and they’re quite gorgeous!

I am totally drooling over this beautiful tokidoki Jacket! Classy and definitely suitable to wear on any cold winter’s night (or when you’re on a back of a motorcycle!). Details of the jacket comes in the form of the tokidoki logo on the zipper pull and you can always fold up the collar to cover your neck - nifty for protecting yourself from the wind! Crim Shop also has other new tokidoki apparel for men and women as well as accessories like bracelets and necklaces.

Whilst looking at the new arrivals, we decided to take a visit to tokidoki’s Europe store and they have already updated it with the Fall/Winter collection (yes, we know we can’t shop from that store but ‘window’ shopping is always fun as well~!) Just check out the new tokidoki jeans, tees and jackets! tokidoki did not leave out the guys in their latest collection coz we spotted this really irresistable tokidoki Jacket for the guys:

Military-inspired with roomy pockets all over the front, this tokidoki Jacket looks simple and understated on the outside, but check out the funky interior! You can also find embroidered patches (smiley bullets on the top right pocket, tokidoki logo on the left) that adds on to the military feel of the design. Definitely suitable for daily wear - I would if I could fit into it!

We’ve seen sneak peeks into the upcoming tokidoki Stationery, tokidoki Apparel (tees, hoodies and more!) as well as the super coveted tokidoki + Skullcandy headphones. What about the toys? Well, after the madness that was SDCC 2008 - us Tokidokizens have spotted a few photos of the tokidoki Tigers taken by fellow tokidoki lovers! Whilst we haven’t gotten our grubby claws on them yet, the tokidoki Tigers are already available (even here in Asia) so make sure you get down to your local store to get one (or four)!

Then there’s my favourite - tokidoki Bulletto (spelt with a double T btw)! We just spotted that Panik’s Toy Box (USA) has already listed Bulletto on their site for preorder. They also have a little blurb on him as well:

Mozzarella’s new boyfriend Bulletto is a tough one when it comes to providing protection for weak kids in the schoolyard. Legend claims that he used to be a bully himself, but switched sides after meeting his beloved Mozzarella. It was love at first sight, and now he runs with the nicer gang, The Moofia. It seems like tokidoki’s Simone Legno is on a roll this year, having just released new characters, new collaborations (with Onitsuka Tiger, Fujitsu etc), new bags and if those aren’t enough, sink your teeth (or wallet) in these!!!

New shoes from tokidoki x Fornarina!!! Omg Omg! Who can resist such gorgeous heels?! (I know my boyfriend can’t either) Adios “leopard-print” on the inside, silver sparklies around the foot, drawings (Japanese girl!) around the stiletto heel and to top it off, a nice sweet pink band around the front with a diamante tokidoki logo! Bellissima!

I laughed when i saw this. He’s such a genius to marry 8-bit wonder in his artwork onto these tokidoki hoodies. Reminds me so much of when i was little and playing Pacman. This hoodie is just absolutely brilliant! Save one for me!! This is gonna be mine!
